Keys to Success
As we all know the basic key to success and the quickest ay for a market to fail is lack of customers to but from the vendors, and lack of vendors for customers to buy from. Vendors do not want to sell at a market that lacks foot traffic and why would a customer return if there is nothing to buy? We know this is an important factor in making a market work. Here is what we are doing to attract customers for you.
Attracting Customers for Vendors:
1. We have the support of the following organizations:
- The Pearland Old Townsite Coalition has allowed us to use their logo, which helps brand the Old Townsite Area
- The Pearland Parks and Recreation Department which will help promote the market.
- The Pearland Economic Development Corporation which will help promote the market.
2. Market posted on Local Websites and Resources
3. Market Participation in Local Events such as Winterfest in Jan. 2010 (which attracts 12,000+ local residents)
4. Newspaper Advertising
5. Market Website, as well as Market Newsletter
6. Flyers posted in Local Businesses
7. Online Media Resources: Facebook, Twitter, Etc.
Attracting Vendors for Customers:
We need YOU! We have tried to make the market as affordable as possible and still cover expenses. As a market, we will work with you to make your participation possible. If there is anything we can do to encourage you to participate, please let us know. We are open to any suggestions on how to make the market as customer and as vendor friendly as possible. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to call Cassie Mitchel at 281-804-4211.
