Gardener’s Corner Information

A “Gardener’s Corner” is provided by the Pearland Old Townsite Farmer’s Market in order to allow local families and farmer’s an avenue for them to sell their extra produce, when they do not yield enough harvest to make a booth lease possible.

Items allowed to be sold at the “Gardener’s Corner”:

Produce, Herbs, Vegetables, Flower, Herb Transplants and Seedlings
(plants must be in ½ gallon or smaller pot and no more than 12 inches tall)

How to Participate in the “Gardener’s Corner”

Fee for Participation:

Participation in Gardener’s Corner allows the Pearland Old Townsite Farmer’s Market to act as your representative in order to sell your produce. The market provides the booth, tables and the needed health permits required in order to place your produce to be sold.

Product Sales Fee: $1.00 for every $10.00 sold

Your sales will be totaled and $1.00 for every $10.00 sold will be charged. The amount will be rounded down. For example, if you sell $17.00 worth of produce, it will be rounded down to $10.00- so you would only pay $1.00

Rules and Regulations:

All Gardener’s Corner participants must follow all rules stated in the “Pearland Old Townsite Farmer’s Market- Market Rules” document. All Gardener’s are asked to be truthful about their growing methods and handle their products in a safe way.

*Residents participating in “Gardener’s Corner” may not participate in more than 3 consecutive market days or more than 8 times each market year.  Participants may not exceed more than $150.00 in sales on more than 3 market days. Any participants that exceed sales or participation limits will be asked to lease a booth space from the market.
